How do you scent a retail store?

Work out the volume of the shop floor (floor area times ceiling height) and choose a diffuser rated for it. Place it deeper in the store, up high, so the airflow carries the scent towards the door rather than out of it. Give fitting rooms or a back room their own small unit if they’re closed off. Schedule it to start shortly before opening and stop at closing, and keep it at a level shoppers notice on arrival without it competing with your products.

Ascent fragrance oils are IFRA-compliant, and our cold-air diffusers use no heat or water. They’re safe for use around children and pets: use them in a ventilated room, keep an eye on pets, and check with your vet if you’re unsure.
